János Baranyai has close to 20 years of entrepreneurial and leadership experience. He founded his first company at the age of 19 and spent a significant part of his career building and running businesses in the maintenance and construction sector in Hungary and Germany, gaining hands-on experience in organising and leading the work of several hundred employees.

In recent years his activity has increasingly turned towards the international business environment, the services sector and investments. His entrepreneurial experience and business network now span several regions: besides the United Arab Emirates and Europe, he has corporate experience or business relationships in Oman, Serbia, Turkey, China, Thailand and Italy.

As Managing Director of ECQ Dubai LLC he is responsible for the company's strategic direction, the development of its international relationships and the coordination of professionals and partners working across different countries and disciplines.

His leadership approach rests on the conviction that the complex questions of international business are never answered by a single person's knowledge. The right legal, tax, financial and business professionals must be organised into one system, connecting local expertise with an international network, so that the client receives a solution that genuinely works.

Dr. Roland Szilágyi is a legal and business professional with more than 20 years of experience. His areas of expertise include corporate law, taxation, compliance, financial investigations and the design of international business structures.

He earned his Executive LLM in international financial and business law at the London School of Economics (LSE) and took part in the TRIUM Global Executive MBA programme delivered jointly by LSE, New York University Stern School of Business and HEC Paris. Alongside private-practice and corporate advisory work, his career includes senior public-administration and leadership experience.

His core specialisms are the design of international corporate and tax structures, forensic audit and compliance, private equity and venture capital structures, UAE company formation, and the establishment and administration of DIFC trust structures.

Within ECQ NEXT, Roland primarily supports clients in complex, multi-jurisdictional legal, tax and business matters, with particular focus on the European and Middle Eastern business environment.
